Just weeks after being awarded the title Law Firm of the Year in the 1 to 10 Partners category, at the Yorkshire Legal Awards, MKB Solicitors LLP has recruited several new faces to meet growing demand for their services.
MKB Solicitors LLP has recruited two new solicitors together with two additional support staff. These new additions follow the recent promotions of highly regarded solicitors Glyn Staves and James Burgess. Glyn, head of the Dispute Resolution Department, has been promoted to Senior Partner and James to the role of Partner within the Commercial Property Department.
Ryan Marsh joins MKB’s Family Department from Oxley & Coward in Rotherham. Ryan has vast experience in all aspects of family law but particularly specialises in the area of local authority care proceedings. Ryan will be assisted by experienced Legal Secretary Joanne Whitehead.
Senior Partner in MKB’s Family Department, Lynn Baker, said “Ryan is very highly regarded in his area of expertise and is from Barnsley, he will be working alongside Joanne who has worked in the Barnsley area for over 25 years, and so it is fantastic to be welcoming them both to MKB.”
Harjit Singh joins MKB to expand the Commercial and Residential Property Department. Harjit will handle all aspects of property law including sales and acquisitions, lease extensions and new build developments.
The last of the new recruits Tracy Dickinson has joined as a Legal Assistant in MKB’s Private Client Department having worked for various Barnsley firms over 20 years.
