If, unfortunately, your Civil Partnership breaks down, the most cost effective way of dividing up your assets is by agreement.   We are happy to negotiate an agreement/settlement on your behalf and then have that embodied in a Separation Deed.   Separation Deeds are usually upheld by the Court as both sides take their own independent legal advice.   It is therefore a very useful mechanism of limiting costs and reaching an early settlement.
