Owen Gibson LL.B (Hons)

Owen qualified as a Solicitor in September 2026 and joined the Family Department at MKB Solicitors LLP upon qualification.

He specialises in all aspects of private family law and works closely with Rachael Burley and Dawn Lowry, advising and supporting clients across a wide range of family law matters.

His practice includes advising on divorce and separation, financial remedy proceedings, financial settlements, child arrangements, domestic abuse matters, cohabitation disputes, separation agreements, and prenuptial and postnuptial agreements.

Owen is committed to guiding clients through often sensitive and complex family issues, maintaining a calm, professional and empathetic approach throughout. He is known for his compassionate, pragmatic and solutions-focused approach, helping clients navigate challenging circumstances with confidence and clarity.

Outside of work, Owen is a keen runner and has completed events including the Leeds Half Marathon and the ASICS LDNX 10K. He also enjoys playing padel, watching football, and is a lifelong Liverpool supporter. A passionate film enthusiast, he particularly enjoys the work of Christopher Nolan and the iconic scores of Hans Zimmer. In his spare time, Owen enjoys planning trips and organising social events with family and friends.
