Guy F Beaumont B.A (Hons)

Guy qualified as a solicitor in 1991 and became a Partner in the firm in the year 2000.  He therefore has over 30 years experience dealing with all aspects of Family Law.

As one of the few family lawyers in the South Yorkshire area who is Specialist Accredited in ALL aspects of family work, Guy has specialist accreditation to represent children in Public Law proceedings, to deal with Private Law children applications, domestic violence and ancillary relief or financial provision.  He is a member of the Law Society’s Children Panel, the Family Law Panel, and Advanced Family Law Panel and is also a member of Resolution.

Guy is therefore able to advise on all aspects of divorce including same sex relationship dissolution.  He is an accredited specialist in relation to financial matters and has dealt with a number of significant high asset cases along with matters in which the parties’ limited assets have to be divided as best can be achieved.

He is a member of the Children Law Panel and regularly receives instructions to represent children in Public Law Proceedings.  Guy deals with all his own advocacy up to and including final hearings and has dealt with a number of fact finding hearings in these types of proceeding.  Equally, he is accredited in Private Law Children matters and can advise and assist parents in relation to residence and contact disputes along with change of name and foreign jurisdiction applications.
