Dawn Lowry F.Inst. L.Ex.

Dawn is a Chartered Legal Executive and Accredited Family Mediator in our Family Department and joined the firm in August 2024.  Dawn has practiced exclusively in South Yorkshire since she qualified in 2001.

In her legal role, Dawn specialises in all aspects of matrimonial/family law including:

• Children issues;
• Divorce/separation;
• Domestic abuse/injunctions;
• Financial and property settlements;
• Separation agreements/living together agreements/prenuptial agreements;
• Unmarried couple disputes;

Dawn holds specialist accreditation with Resolution in the categories of domestic abuse and private law children.

In 2012 Dawn qualified as an “all issues” family mediator.  This means that as well as being able to offer expert advice in her role as a Chartered Legal Executive, Dawn is able to use her skills and draw from experience to help families in need through the family mediation process.  This is where Dawn’s passion lines.

Dawn offers face to face mediation and remote mediation to suit the needs of her clients.

Out of work, Dawn enjoys bowling, travelling and spending time with family.  She is a keen fundraiser for her favourite charity “The Edward Foundation” which protects bulldogs at risk.  She will talk “bulldog” all day long….
