Advice for Landlords:

We can advise landlords where a tenant is not paying rent as to the appropriate notices which have to be sent to the tenant.  If a tenant does not comply with those notices then we can advise and assist in the preparation of documents to take the tenant to Court and obtain a Court Order.  If a tenant is damaging your property then we can write to the tenant and serve appropriate notices before the issue of Court proceedings, if required.  In a situation where a tenant has been served with the appropriate notice and refuses to leave the property, we can assist in the preparation and filing at Court of the appropriate documentation.

Advice for Tenants:

In cases where a tenant cannot afford to pay the rent to the landlord then we can advise and assist as to what a tenant should do.  Also, in a situation where a landlord will not carry out repairs to the property, which the landlord is obliged to do, we can advise and assist in the preparation of letters and documents to the landlord requesting those repairs to be carried out.  When a landlord serves a notice wanting possession of the property we can advise you, as a tenant, as to what you can do if you want to remain in the property or if you want to leave.
