MKB are pleased to announce that its first charity quiz night was a huge success. The quiz took place at Chill Champagne Bar in Barnsley on 6th April 2017 and was attended by numerous local businesses. After compiling quiz entry fees and raffle tickets sales, we are delighted to have raised over £800.00.

The event was the first of a number of planned initiatives by MKB to raise money for Pathways, MKB’s Charity of the Year for 2017. Pathways is a Barnsley-based domestic abuse organisation which provides a wide range of support services for local people affected by domestic abuse and has recently lost a substantial amount of central funding. We therefore hope to assist the charity with this funding gap throughout the year to ensure it can continue the invaluable work it carries out.
We would like to thank each and every one of the people involved in making the quiz night such a success, including all who donated raffles prizes, staff who organised the event and, last but by no means least, all who attended the quiz night and showed such generosity to help us raise such a significant amount.
