MKB Solicitors have joined forces with Macmillan Cancer Support to exclusively offer a free will-writing service during November to the people of Barnsley.
For a limited time only, MKB Solicitors will waive their fees for clients willing to make a voluntary donation of £50.00 per Will created to Macmillan Cancer Support.
97% of Macmillan’s funding comes from voluntary donations, over a third of which is from gifts in wills. Without these vital donations the development of cancer support services across the UK, such as the nurses, the physiotherapists, benefits advisors Macmillan have funded in Barnsley would not be possible.
Steven Dawson, Head of the Private Client Department at MKB, says: “MKB Solicitors are very proud to volunteer our legal expertise to help Macmillan Cancer Support. The money raised from this free will-writing initiative will help Macmillan to provide vital support services to people affected by cancer.”
This kind gesture by MKB Solicitors is running in November which is will writing awareness month. The solicitors are hoping this will encourage people who keep thinking about doing their will to book an appointment and complete their will.
Amy Hebdon at Macmillan says: “We are extremely grateful to MKB Solicitors for supporting Macmillan through this initiative. Whether people choose to donate now, in their wills or both, their support is vital to ensuring that more services will be available to future generations of people affected by cancer in Barnsley”.
