Karen Roberts (nee Gray) is an experienced family Solicitor. Her career began in 1996 in West Yorkshire, she qualified as a solicitor in 1999. She has practiced in South Yorkshire since 1999 specialising in Family, Children and Divorce Work. She became a Partner with MKB Solicitors LLP in 2003.
Karen specialises in Divorce, Financial Settlements, Domestic Abuse and all Children disputes/issues, she is highly skilled and trained in her practice and representation.
She has experience in progressing cases before the Court of Appeal, the High Court, the County Court and the Magistrates Court. She has handled a number of International child abduction cases and financial cases with an international element. She has Resolution Specialist Accreditation in Advance Financial Provision, Children Law Private and Domestic Abuse. She undertook Collaborative Family training in resolution and training for ‘all issues’ Resolution Family Mediation in 2011.
Karen regularly receives clients who have been referred to her from other clients or agencies including Pathways, Barnsley’s Independent Domestic Abuse Service
Karen has many lawyer, life coach, therapist and financial consultant connections. Her sister is a rape/domestic abuse/eating disorder/trauma therapist. She has represented clients across England and South and West Yorkshire.
